Virgo Constellation Star Map, c. 1824 by Sidney Hall depicts the zodiac constellation as a winged maiden holding a sheaf of wheat, her stars charted in precise antiquarian detail alongside the neighboring figures of Boötes, Coma Berenices, and Corvus. The plate was designed by the Reverend Richard Rouse Bloxam for the celebrated card atlas Urania's Mirror and engraved by Sidney Hall, the English cartographer and engraver whose celestial charts helped popularize astronomy for a general audience in early 19th-century Britain.
