A gift to Night of Hope · October 17, 2026
On October 17, our framed Monet went to auction at the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation’s Night of Hope. All the proceeds from the auction support the Foundation’s mission. Thank you to everyone who bid, shared or made the night possible.
The piece
Sailboats rest on the Seine beneath the road bridge at Argenteuil, the town near Paris where Monet was living when he painted this scene in 1874. We printed The Bridge at Argenteuil at 48 × 36 inches, framed it in white wood, and gave it to Night of Hope as Lot #502 in the silent auction.

The night
Night of Hope is the Foundation’s annual fundraiser. On October 17, the Central Florida Chapter held its eighth annual event, with a silent auction of 60 lots, from theme park tickets and spa days to golf outings and hotel stays. Bidding on our Monet opened at $125 and closed that evening at 9:15 PM. EST
The cause
Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis are chronic inflammatory bowel diseases. The Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation raises funds for research toward cures, and for programs and resources that support patients and families. Proceeds from the auction support the Foundation’s mission.

Our reason
Art has always been about connection: to a place, to a moment, to each other. Giving a piece to Night of Hope is our way of connecting what we do, bringing beautiful art into Orlando homes, with the community that makes this city home. We’re grateful to the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation for the work they do, and we hope you’ll join us in supporting it.
We’d love to hear from you. Leave a comment below and tell us what this cause means to you.
With gratitude,
Founders of Le Canvas Atelier
