Sunnyside on the Hudson by Currier & Ives depicts the riverside home of author Washington Irving near Tarrytown, New York, its ivy-covered gables and stepped rooflines framed by tall trees along the Hudson, with Irving himself shown seated on the garden path as gardeners tend the lawn.
