Hagenbeck-Wallace Circus Poster, 1900-1910, by Otis Lithograph Co. presents bust portraits of Carl Hagenbeck and B.E. Wallace framed by circus animals and performers — a giraffe, tiger, elephant, aerialists, and a bareback rider — advertising the touring Hagenbeck-Wallace Circus, formed in 1907 from the merger of the Carl Hagenbeck Circus and the Great Wallace Circus. The poster was printed by the Otis Lithograph Company of Cleveland and New York, a leading circus-poster printer of the era.
