C.W. Parker's Steam Riding Gallery, by C.W. Parker is a period advertising poster for the traveling carousel business of Charles W. Parker, self-styled the "Amusement King," based in Leavenworth, Kansas. The poster's central vignette shows a crowd enjoying Parker's ornate carousel beneath its striped tent, flanked by insets of the "Special" double-cylinder steam engine and the famous military band organ that powered and soundtracked the ride.
