Woman with a Parasol in a Yellow Meadow at Limetz, by Claude Monet spreads a yellow-flowering summer meadow beneath green, wooded hills, with a woman holding a salmon-pink parasol in the foreground and two small figures walking in the middle distance. Loose, vibrant strokes of yellow and green capture the shimmer of wildflowers and the wind-stirred grass. Painted in the countryside near Giverny, where Monet lived from 1883, it reflects his deepening interest in light, atmosphere, and the rural landscapes around his home, and it is also known as Meadow at Limetz (La Prairie de Limetz).
