Village of Siloam, Jerusalem, c. 1895 is a hand-tinted photochrome view of the ancient village of Siloam perched above the Kidron Valley on the outskirts of Jerusalem, its flat-roofed stone houses terracing down a rocky hillside toward the valley floor. Produced using the photochrome process popular in the late 19th century, the print captures one of the Holy Land's most historically significant sites in luminous, naturalistic color.
