The Farm at Les Collettes, Cagnes, painted by Pierre-Auguste Renoir between 1908 and 1914, depicts the old stone farmhouse and ancient olive trees on the Mediterranean estate he purchased in 1907 above Cagnes-sur-Mer. Rendered in warm ochre, silvery sage, and dusty rose, the loose, sun-saturated brushwork reflects the fluid manner Renoir developed after rheumatoid arthritis forced his move south. This is one of roughly fifteen views Renoir painted of the farm during his final years; a related canvas dated to around 1915 is offered separately in this collection.

The Farm at Les Collettes, Cagnes, 1908-14 by Pierre-Auguste Renoir. Provençal Landscape Wall Art Canvas Print.
A note on this reproduction: this print renders in warmer, more golden-ochre tones, with richer warm highlights throughout the foliage. A cooler, more muted reproduction of this same painting is also available in our collection.
