Penn Station, New York City, 1915 presents a sweeping aerial view of the original Pennsylvania Station shortly after its 1910 opening, its Beaux-Arts colonnades and train shed dominating the Manhattan streetscape below. Designed by McKim, Mead & White and demolished in 1963, the celebrated terminal remains one of the most mourned losses in American architectural history.
