Haystack at Giverny, 1886 – Claude Monet Wall Art | Impressionist Meadow Canvas Print
Choose options
Painted in 1886, Claude Monet's Haystack at Giverny captures a single hayrick standing in the meadows surrounding the painter's recently settled home at Giverny. The early haystack canvases of the mid-1880s lay the chromatic and compositional groundwork for the celebrated Meules series of 1890–91, in which Monet would paint the same grouping of hayricks under successive shifts of light, weather, and season. A historically significant and atmospherically luminous work for any interior drawn to the masterworks of French Impressionism.
