Cunard Line Promotional Brochure for Berengaria, by Louis Fancher depicts the Cunard ocean liner Berengaria in bold, flattened Art Deco planes of amber, navy, and red-orange, her black hull filling the lower frame beneath three banded smokestacks. Fancher, an American illustrator active in New York and San Francisco in the early twentieth century, was known for graphic poster and magazine work, including propaganda art for the U.S. Army Signal Corps during World War I.
