Cliffs Near Fécamp, 1881 – Claude Monet Wall Art | Impressionist Normandy Coastal Canvas Print
Choose options
Painted in 1881, Claude Monet's Cliffs Near Fécamp captures the dramatic chalk cliffs of the Norman coast at Fécamp, a small port town on the Channel north of Le Havre. The site was one of several stretches of the Norman coastline Monet painted intensively during the early 1880s, returning again and again to the chalk escarpments under successive shifts of light and weather. Painted in the freely handled brushwork of his mature Impressionist style. A historically significant and atmospherically powerful work for any interior drawn to the masterworks of French Impressionism.
