Antique Garden Plan II, by Jean-François de Neufforge presents a formal French estate and garden layout rendered with architectural precision — the building's symmetrical wings and cour d'honneur flanked by structured parterres and clipped hedges. The plate comes from de Neufforge's Recueil élémentaire d'architecture (1757–1768), a monumental pattern book of some 900 architectural engravings that the Flemish architect designed and engraved largely himself, covering everything from facades and floor plans to gardens and construction details.
