Group of Bathers, painted by Pierre-Auguste Renoir in 1918, is presented here as a fine art canvas reproduction within its original academic nude tradition. Several bathers are arranged within a lush, sun-drenched garden landscape based on the grounds of Les Collettes, his home near Cagnes-sur-Mer, rendered in the loose, glowing brushwork and warm golden palette that defined his final years. Completed in the last year of his life, the painting is Renoir's grandest statement on the bather theme that occupied him throughout his career, and is held today at the Musée d'Orsay in Paris as the widely regarded culminating masterpiece of his late period.
