«Натюрморт с синим эмалированным кофейником, глиняной посудой и фруктами», ок. 1888 г., Винсент Ван Гог изображает высокий темно-синий эмалированный кофейник в центре стола, по бокам от которого стоят кувшин в сине-белую клетку и украшенный глиняный кувшин, а также лимоны и апельсины на бледно-голубой скатерти на фоне яркого желтого фона. Ван Гог (нидерл., 1853–1890) написал эту картину в Арле, используя резкий контраст между теплым цветом цитрусовых и холодным синим, чтобы придать динамику обычному кухонному натюрморту.
