Campo de trigo con un segador, pintado por Vincent van Gogh en 1889 muestra a un segador solitario segando a través de un vasto campo de trigo dorado bajo un sol amarillo resplandeciente, con el campo amurallado y las lejanas montañas azules de Saint-Rémy-de-Provence visibles desde la ventana de su habitación en el asilo. Van Gogh construyó la composición con gruesas y agitadas pinceladas de pintura amarilla, con el segador destacado con solo unos pocos toques de azul contra el grano resplandeciente. Describió al segador como una imagen de la muerte segando a la humanidad como el trigo, pero insistió en que la escena estaba casi sonriente, bañada en una luz de fino oro en lugar de tristeza.
